Faiq (Operations)

Throughout the session, I found Syamim to be a very honest and knowledgeable guy. This is my first experience with regards to financial planning and insurance. What I love most is that he is able to help me with the planning of my future milestones such as wedding and housing. This session also helped me to decide on the insurance that suits me well in accordance to my financial situation. I will definitely recommend Syamim to my close friends.

Weijian (Pharmacist)

I met Syamim after being recommended by my wife I found the sessions with Syamim to be beneficial as being similar to our age, Syamim can relate and better advise us pertaining to the problems and goals that we have at this stage of our life. This experience is different compared to other financial planning sessions I had as Syamim spends a lot more effort and time to understand our situation and make pictograms and charts to explain his recommendation and advise to us! I would definitely recommend meeting Syamim, especially for young couples or couples-to-be, planning for marriage, family, BTO!

Nabil (Undergraduate)

Syamim's services was recommended to me by my brother. The portfolio that he manages really amazed me, together with his track record for my family. He’s able to give me an insight of short term and long term plans which I have little to zero knowledge of. It is something that allows me to be more aware of my financial situation and to plan ahead, which I'm grateful for. Syamim is also able to answer my questions with full knowledge and details which I appreciate. When it comes to explaining the policies again as a refresher, he would gladly do so and most importantly he does not pressure me into taking up any policies. I would 100% recommend Syamim to anyone who would like to plan for their life milestones!

Atiqah (Patient Service Associate)

I was recommended to Syamim by my partner who was one of his clients. Meeting Syamim allowed me to be disciplined in managing my finances so that I am able to plan for my financial goals within the right time frame. It was helpful as he showed me how much I needed to set aside to reach my desired goals. Every year, I am happy with the progression I have made in my finances. I would definitely recommend Syamim to others wanting to improve their finances!

Shazlyn (Homemaker) & Faizal (Pilot)

We were aware of the work that Syamim does after he came in highly recommended by a few relatives. At that point in time, we were looking for an advisor who could relate to us well, explain policies to us clearly and sincerely help us in managing our current and future policies. We switched over to his services after just one meeting because of how detailed and professional he is in his work. He took a lot of time and effort to present the best policies he felt suited our needs and they were spot on. His patience with us and our gazillion questions is also worth mentioning. The PowerPoint presentations that had diagrams with concise information were most beneficial. It provided a clear overview of each policy we currently had and wanted to take up. It was an easy reference point as we tend to easily forget the details of the different policies. It was different to other sessions with other advisors which were merely made up of discussions where the agent goes over the details of the policy verbally again and again. It doesn't stick, and is easily forgettable. With the different tools Syamim uses, we could easily grasp the idea of a policy by just a slide/diagram. It allows us to comprehend things easily and refer to them conveniently. We would a million percent recommend this meeting to others because as a millennial himself, he definitely gets us. He understands and relates to us so well that we look forward to meetings for updates rather than dread them. We truly enjoy the service he provides and the extra mile he always goes for clients. He has our complete trust and rest assured he is the best agent we've ever encountered thus far.

Sharon (Management Trainee)

I Met Syamim randomly because I signed up to get a personal finance booklet on IG. But best decision ever. “I wont advise you to invest until 6 months later, after we have tracked your cash flow” “There are more packages but I won’t sell those, cause they are really not worth. I can run through them but will refer you to someone else if you really want to buy.” “Me: I don’t really know how cpf and income tax works Syamim: *prepares an entire ppt and lecture to educate me” “Me: I have random insurance that my parents buy from different companies, but I don’t really know what they are. Syamim: *makes me send him screenshots from SingPass, pdfs from AXA and the GE app on my dad’s phone to find out what I have.” If those quotes weren’t enough, the final stroke for me was; “Syamim: *pulls out an excel sheet 10 mins into our first meeting to start calculating my cash flow and planning for things like holidays to marriage to dental appointments.” I have met more than 5 financial advisors, but all seemed to just want to “grow my wealth”. While that is important, I think understanding my wealth and giving me handles to manage it is much more important. At our age, really think financial literacy is the way to go. Syamim keeps up to date and is a really good teacher, even asked him if he considered being one. What he does is to give you the necessary knowledge to manage your own finances and make the most well informed decisions. Coming full circle, he is everything a financial advisor should be but usually isn’t - giving you good financial advise and lets you decide. What everyone else does is tell you how to grow your wealth, how to invest, how to beat inflation, another savings plan, another plan to diversify, or simply instilling some fear of the future to help you ‘invest’ early. So for all the lost souls and fresh graduates, Syamim is definitely the guy for you. I’ve actually never met anyone else who pulls out an excel sheet to plan my finances instead of drawing me some triangle, timeline or graph. He is open to teaching and advising those who already has insurance plans too, no strings attached!! So feel free to reach out. If you feel bad just get him a drink though he will probably tell you to wait till you gain enough income to buy him one :))
