Dignity is the state or quality of being worthy of honour or respect by virtue of being human, and every person has an intrinsic need to feel valued and needed. Yet, in our world, there is often a gap between the ideals and realities of how dignity is accorded to individuals across age, gender, social statuses and financial positions. In this issue, I'd like to bring attention to the topic of dignity, and the ways which we can protect & honour the dignity of others and ourselves.

Building dignity and purpose to create greater performance and wellbeing

Iskandar (Civil Servant)

I chose to met Syamim as he was a very welcoming and friendly person. Overall, all the financial planning sessions were very insightful and Syamim explained everything clearly. He advised me accordingly according to my budget and goals. Throughout the sessions, he was very easy-going and made me feel very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this meeting to my friends and family!

Rania (Corporate Trainer)

I met Syamim through my boyfriend and I’m grateful to be able to work with him! I didn’t really know much about financial planning or suitable insurance policies especially as a fresh grad. But Syamim was able to help me come up with a savings excel plan that I can easily stick to and make my life goals much easier to achieve. He was not pushy at all and was very patient and very clear and concise while explaining everything to me. He even took into consideration my relatively small budget and made it work! Would definitely recommend Syamim to my friends and family

Naqia & Emi (Civil servant)

Syamim is a great financial advisor. We had other insurance agents before, but like most, after signing up for the insurance or financial plans, agents tend to vanish. When you are laid in a hospital and need help, you'd expect your agent to be able to answer your queries. Ours didn't. Luckily for us, we had already engaged Syamim as our financial advisor. When I was admitted to the hospital, despite not having a hospitalisation plan with him, Syamim gave us the answers that we needed when our own agent disappeared on us. After I was discharged, again it was Syamim who helped us with the claiming. Imagine that! An honest and reliable financial advisor in your time of need! He didn't hard-sell any of his plans. He listened to our needs and explained thoroughly about the plans he thought was necessary at different points in our life. A great financial advisor that we would definitely recommend!!

Shafiq (Civil servant) & Nani (Teacher)

I chose to meet Syamim because I was curious on how my fiancé manages his financials. We are open when it comes to financial management and what really captured my attention was that Syamim pays attention to the small details for his clients. He ensures that Shafiq doesn't feel burdened and did not force him into anything that he cannot commit to yet. Something different about Syamim is that he does excel sheets on planning for you so that you won’t question what is going to happen because it is already projected on the excel. He is the only agent that we see doing this, which gives you personalised data and a feeling of priority. For me, I find that him putting himself into my shoes really shows the decency of a human being. He knows that everybody is struggling with something and he ensures that I don’t feel embarrassed or difficult when talking to him. When talking to him for the first time, I felt comfortable as though we were friends before. He made it seem easy to talk to him about anything. He can do both small talks and deep conversations. When I first heard about him from Shafiq, I did not expect to see a friend more than an agent. I would definitely recommend this meeting to everyone. I’ve met with a few financial advisors and Syamim made me the most comfortable to talk about my financial situation. Convincing is something anyone in this field can do but trust takes courage and time. And he seems genuine for me to trust.

Nasruddin (DevOps Engineer)

I've known Syamim during our NS days and he's a very kind and approachable person. I would definitely say one of the benefits of meeting him is the idea of retirement planning especially at our age right now. The saving structures and systems he comes up with is also beneficial. Not too hard, neither is it too insignificant. Easily said, Syamim doesn't hard sell you anything. Knowing him , all he ever wants to do is to help people out financially. Obviously he can't give you the fish. He'll teach you how to get them, especially on how to manage your finances. That's what I've been looking for after all these years of searching. I would most definitely recommend Syamim to my friends. In fact I have list of names to recommend him to. If he's not anywhere near my standards, I wouldn't even consider recommending. By far, he is the most understanding, professional and hard working adviser I've known. Thanks for helping me out a lot Syamim. Especially taking so much of your time to plan for me financially. Going out of your way just to schedule a time slot with me. Really appreciate all your kindness and may you succeed in in this life and the hereafter.

Aliah & Nas (Teachers)

We reached out to Syamim because our sisters spoke highly of his expertise in financial planning. The best part of meeting Syamim was feeling like we were chatting with a friend rather than sitting through a stuffy financial consultation. He didn't just throw numbers at us; he listened to our hopes, fears, and crazy dreams. Together, we crafted a plan that felt like it was tailored just for us. It was like an epiphanic moment— We finally understood our finances, and had a roadmap to chase our dreams. We think everyone our age could benefit from that kind of clarity and encouragement provided by Syamim. In the past, we’ve felt like just another number on someone's client list. But with Syamim, it was different. He made us feel heard and understood. That personal touch made all the difference. If you're feeling overwhelmed by finances or just need a little direction, Syamim is your guy. He's not just a financial advisor; he's a cheerleader, a mentor, and a friend all rolled into one. Meeting with him was the best decision we’ve made for our financial future, and I know he can do the same for you.
