Haidar (Customer Success Manager)

I have known Syamim on a personal level for a couple of years through mutual friendship. In our first meetup, Syamim's tech-savvy preparation and vast knowledge on all personal financial planning aspects left me thoroughly impressed. It was easy to understand and never felt intimidating, even for a guy like me who only knew basic terms. I would strongly recommend anyone who is keen to map out their short and long term financial goals with Syamim, who's attention to detail, listening skills and honest approach will lead the nervy experience of financial planning into a highly insightful one. Keep up the outstanding work Syamim!

Shafiqah (Executive)

I met Syamim when I signed up for one of his financial guide books online I found the most beneficial part of the meeting to be the allocation of my financial budget, planning my financials to better understand how to reach my financial goals during these volatile period. I have switched 4 to 5 FA(s) (or forced to, due to FA resigning and was reassigned to other FAs which I have not seen or met them) until I met Syamim. He was different as he stayed in contact and always updates me every year since 3 years ago. I would recommend this meeting to others, but unfortunately, some of my friend are FAs too. However, I would recommend other who are in search or are lost in their financial journey in life, well I know I was.

Sharon (Management Trainee)

I Met Syamim randomly because I signed up to get a personal finance booklet on IG. But best decision ever. “I wont advise you to invest until 6 months later, after we have tracked your cash flow” “There are more packages but I won’t sell those, cause they are really not worth. I can run through them but will refer you to someone else if you really want to buy.” “Me: I don’t really know how cpf and income tax works Syamim: *prepares an entire ppt and lecture to educate me” “Me: I have random insurance that my parents buy from different companies, but I don’t really know what they are. Syamim: *makes me send him screenshots from SingPass, pdfs from AXA and the GE app on my dad’s phone to find out what I have.” If those quotes weren’t enough, the final stroke for me was; “Syamim: *pulls out an excel sheet 10 mins into our first meeting to start calculating my cash flow and planning for things like holidays to marriage to dental appointments.” I have met more than 5 financial advisors, but all seemed to just want to “grow my wealth”. While that is important, I think understanding my wealth and giving me handles to manage it is much more important. At our age, really think financial literacy is the way to go. Syamim keeps up to date and is a really good teacher, even asked him if he considered being one. What he does is to give you the necessary knowledge to manage your own finances and make the most well informed decisions. Coming full circle, he is everything a financial advisor should be but usually isn’t - giving you good financial advise and lets you decide. What everyone else does is tell you how to grow your wealth, how to invest, how to beat inflation, another savings plan, another plan to diversify, or simply instilling some fear of the future to help you ‘invest’ early. So for all the lost souls and fresh graduates, Syamim is definitely the guy for you. I’ve actually never met anyone else who pulls out an excel sheet to plan my finances instead of drawing me some triangle, timeline or graph. He is open to teaching and advising those who already has insurance plans too, no strings attached!! So feel free to reach out. If you feel bad just get him a drink though he will probably tell you to wait till you gain enough income to buy him one :))

Uwais (Firefighter)

I have known Syamim for more than 10 years. Despite our close friendship, he has always remained professional whenever we discuss topics on personal finance. Syamim has guided me not only in typical insurance and investments but also helped me plan through important milestones in my life such as marriage, renovations and family planning. I would definitely recommend engaging Syamim's services as his holistic and long-term financial planning has allowed me to live my life worry free.

Ian (Music Teacher)

I chose to meet Syamim because he comes across as an amicable, friendly and patient person. I find the meeting with him to be non pressuring, relaxed and we are able to share about any other interests, topics and concerns. He is able to give practical financial advise outside of the policies he is selling, just like how a friend would. I would recommend this meeting to others, as it will also encourage and empower people to think for their own finances, as they partner with Syamim, for better in their financial management.

Nasruddin (DevOps Engineer)

I've known Syamim during our NS days and he's a very kind and approachable person. I would definitely say one of the benefits of meeting him is the idea of retirement planning especially at our age right now. The saving structures and systems he comes up with is also beneficial. Not too hard, neither is it too insignificant. Easily said, Syamim doesn't hard sell you anything. Knowing him , all he ever wants to do is to help people out financially. Obviously he can't give you the fish. He'll teach you how to get them, especially on how to manage your finances. That's what I've been looking for after all these years of searching. I would most definitely recommend Syamim to my friends. In fact I have list of names to recommend him to. If he's not anywhere near my standards, I wouldn't even consider recommending. By far, he is the most understanding, professional and hard working adviser I've known. Thanks for helping me out a lot Syamim. Especially taking so much of your time to plan for me financially. Going out of your way just to schedule a time slot with me. Really appreciate all your kindness and may you succeed in in this life and the hereafter.
