So I decided to engage with Syamim as he’s someone I’m familiar with. You will be able to oversee the plannings that he does in terms of finances and insurance. I am also able to see where and how much funds are allocated to spending and saving, which helps me to keep my budget on track. Most importantly, emergency funds. Syamim was my classmate back in JC and a few years after we graduated our respective universities, he told me he was a Financial Consultant and asked if I would like to engage his services. When I told him I was not ready due to the fact that I only just started working, he was patient and accommodating as he did not push me any further. I finally decided to meet him some years later to engage his services and I never looked back since. He was able to tell me what I was doing right, and also what I could do better. He is very knowledgeable and was able to explain to me everything I needed to know. The most important thing that he could do was to be patient with me as I switched jobs (and hence a change in my income) and navigate through some personal issues.
