Imtiyaaz (Undergraduate)

Syamim has been super helpful to me and my family in advising us about our finances and insurance. He has helped me and my dad to plan our finances for the future which allowed us to have less worry. I am thankful that he takes his time to explain something to me and if i don’t understand, he will slowly explain it to me again which I appreciate a lot. I appreciate that he is very honest and direct with us and always makes us feel comfortable. He even helped my mom to look through her insurance even though she doesn’t have any insurance plans with him which shows he truly cares about his clients. I will recommend Syamim to anyone who wants to plan their finance for their future.

Ama (Teacher)

I started out my career with absolutely no clue about managing my finances. Then came Syamim- he has been my saving grace throughout the past few years. We first established my goals in life and he personalised a plan and timeline that allows me to achieve those goals (albeit in a realistic way). What separates him from the rest is that he really hears you out and puts your aspirations and goals first, before anything else. I have always felt at ease and was never belittled for my lack of financial knowledge with Syamim. For that, I'd highly recommend that you book a consult with Syamim. You know that he's always going to put you first!

Sharon (Management Trainee)

I Met Syamim randomly because I signed up to get a personal finance booklet on IG. But best decision ever. “I wont advise you to invest until 6 months later, after we have tracked your cash flow” “There are more packages but I won’t sell those, cause they are really not worth. I can run through them but will refer you to someone else if you really want to buy.” “Me: I don’t really know how cpf and income tax works Syamim: *prepares an entire ppt and lecture to educate me” “Me: I have random insurance that my parents buy from different companies, but I don’t really know what they are. Syamim: *makes me send him screenshots from SingPass, pdfs from AXA and the GE app on my dad’s phone to find out what I have.” If those quotes weren’t enough, the final stroke for me was; “Syamim: *pulls out an excel sheet 10 mins into our first meeting to start calculating my cash flow and planning for things like holidays to marriage to dental appointments.” I have met more than 5 financial advisors, but all seemed to just want to “grow my wealth”. While that is important, I think understanding my wealth and giving me handles to manage it is much more important. At our age, really think financial literacy is the way to go. Syamim keeps up to date and is a really good teacher, even asked him if he considered being one. What he does is to give you the necessary knowledge to manage your own finances and make the most well informed decisions. Coming full circle, he is everything a financial advisor should be but usually isn’t - giving you good financial advise and lets you decide. What everyone else does is tell you how to grow your wealth, how to invest, how to beat inflation, another savings plan, another plan to diversify, or simply instilling some fear of the future to help you ‘invest’ early. So for all the lost souls and fresh graduates, Syamim is definitely the guy for you. I’ve actually never met anyone else who pulls out an excel sheet to plan my finances instead of drawing me some triangle, timeline or graph. He is open to teaching and advising those who already has insurance plans too, no strings attached!! So feel free to reach out. If you feel bad just get him a drink though he will probably tell you to wait till you gain enough income to buy him one :))

Ashik (Engineer)

Unlike the many financial advisors I have had meetings with, Syamim has never been pushy and is genuinely concerned about my financial needs and situation. With his cheerful demeanour, it's always a pleasure to have coffee with him and each time, I walk out having learnt something new. One thing that I admire about him is that he is always a text/phone call away and he attends to your queries immediately. I am actually very touched with his sincerity when he once told me that I wasn’t actually ready to purchase any protection plans yet and advised me to get a stable income first. I would have at least met 5-6 financial advisors before him and all of them were trying to get me to purchase something from them. If you want someone who is honest and transparent, Syamim is the right one!

Nabil (Undergraduate)

Syamim's services was recommended to me by my brother. The portfolio that he manages really amazed me, together with his track record for my family. He’s able to give me an insight of short term and long term plans which I have little to zero knowledge of. It is something that allows me to be more aware of my financial situation and to plan ahead, which I'm grateful for. Syamim is also able to answer my questions with full knowledge and details which I appreciate. When it comes to explaining the policies again as a refresher, he would gladly do so and most importantly he does not pressure me into taking up any policies. I would 100% recommend Syamim to anyone who would like to plan for their life milestones!

Khai (Lawyer)

I met Syamim based on strong recommendations from friends he had previously advised, and their confidence in his track record immediately gave me assurance in his services. The most beneficial aspects of our meeting were the in-depth financial planning around my personal goals and his deep knowledge in tailoring financial products specifically to my situation. What truly set this experience apart from other advisors I’ve met was that Syamim was never pushy—he focused on understanding rather than selling. He is also extremely contactable and responsive to my queries, no matter how big or small. I would confidently recommend meeting with Syamim to anyone looking for clear, personalised, and trustworthy financial advice.
