Ama (Teacher)

I started out my career with absolutely no clue about managing my finances. Then came Syamim- he has been my saving grace throughout the past few years. We first established my goals in life and he personalised a plan and timeline that allows me to achieve those goals (albeit in a realistic way). What separates him from the rest is that he really hears you out and puts your aspirations and goals first, before anything else. I have always felt at ease and was never belittled for my lack of financial knowledge with Syamim. For that, I'd highly recommend that you book a consult with Syamim. You know that he's always going to put you first!

Eizaaz (Port Inspector)

Meeting with Syamim gave me insight of my financial and assisted me with my financial planning. I gained a greater understanding on the best approach on planning my finances. At the same time, he went through in details the different types of insurance & investments, allowing me to balance out what I need and what I want. He goes the extra mile to assist and was not pushy on his services. All in all the meeting felt very comfortable, creating a pleasant experience when having sessions with him. I would definitely recommend him to everyone such sincere and great guy.

Brandon (Policy Analyst)

When I first met Syamim, he provided an introductory financial guide for insurance and investment that was relatable to me as a student transitioning to a working adult. The most beneficial part of this meeting was the tailored experience he provides for my unique situation and the advice he gives me based on his experience. He also takes into consideration of changing life plans and adapts his recommendations accordingly. I would definitely recommend others to meet Syamim 👍

Hakim (Teacher)

When looking for an FA, I wanted someone who would be able to value add to my knowledge and Syamim was able to do just that. His extensive knowledge on financial planning and patient demeanour made it a no brainer to choose him as my FA. On top of that, Syamim never fails to ensure my queries are answered promptly and is proactive in offering a variety of solutions, including ones that may not be related to the products he is offering. From his actions, it is clear that Syamim’s intentions lie in looking out for his client’s financial well-being and not solely for his personal gain. The financial roadmap Syamim provided was useful in helping me visualize the various financial milestones, and this was accompanied by his recommendations of a financial plan tailored to my needs/goals. Beyond the first meet-up, Syamim regularly checks in and provides yearly reviews to ensure that my evolving financial needs are constantly being attended to. Syamim has been a joy to work with. Do not hesitate to contact him for your financial needs!

Sharon (Management Trainee)

I Met Syamim randomly because I signed up to get a personal finance booklet on IG. But best decision ever. “I wont advise you to invest until 6 months later, after we have tracked your cash flow” “There are more packages but I won’t sell those, cause they are really not worth. I can run through them but will refer you to someone else if you really want to buy.” “Me: I don’t really know how cpf and income tax works Syamim: *prepares an entire ppt and lecture to educate me” “Me: I have random insurance that my parents buy from different companies, but I don’t really know what they are. Syamim: *makes me send him screenshots from SingPass, pdfs from AXA and the GE app on my dad’s phone to find out what I have.” If those quotes weren’t enough, the final stroke for me was; “Syamim: *pulls out an excel sheet 10 mins into our first meeting to start calculating my cash flow and planning for things like holidays to marriage to dental appointments.” I have met more than 5 financial advisors, but all seemed to just want to “grow my wealth”. While that is important, I think understanding my wealth and giving me handles to manage it is much more important. At our age, really think financial literacy is the way to go. Syamim keeps up to date and is a really good teacher, even asked him if he considered being one. What he does is to give you the necessary knowledge to manage your own finances and make the most well informed decisions. Coming full circle, he is everything a financial advisor should be but usually isn’t - giving you good financial advise and lets you decide. What everyone else does is tell you how to grow your wealth, how to invest, how to beat inflation, another savings plan, another plan to diversify, or simply instilling some fear of the future to help you ‘invest’ early. So for all the lost souls and fresh graduates, Syamim is definitely the guy for you. I’ve actually never met anyone else who pulls out an excel sheet to plan my finances instead of drawing me some triangle, timeline or graph. He is open to teaching and advising those who already has insurance plans too, no strings attached!! So feel free to reach out. If you feel bad just get him a drink though he will probably tell you to wait till you gain enough income to buy him one :))

Weijian (Pharmacist)

I met Syamim after being recommended by my wife I found the sessions with Syamim to be beneficial as being similar to our age, Syamim can relate and better advise us pertaining to the problems and goals that we have at this stage of our life. This experience is different compared to other financial planning sessions I had as Syamim spends a lot more effort and time to understand our situation and make pictograms and charts to explain his recommendation and advise to us! I would definitely recommend meeting Syamim, especially for young couples or couples-to-be, planning for marriage, family, BTO!
