Syamim was referred to me by my childhood friend. It was to do financial planning for my wife and I. Syamim went the extra mile to look into these for me and realized that 1 of my policy was over paid and the benefits was not worth for the amount I was paying. From my experience, most financial advisors will relatively ask you to start investment plans and seldom speak about emergency funds. Syamim was the opposite, he told me to grow my emergency funds first and invest only after that. He has given me a bigger picture on financial planning and choosing the correct policies. When I told him I was not ready due to the fact that I only just started working, he was patient and accommodating as he did not push me any further. I finally decided to meet him some years later to engage his services and I never looked back since. He was able to tell me what I was doing right, and also what I could do better. He is very knowledgeable and was able to explain to me everything I needed to know. The most important thing that he could do was to be patient with me as I switched jobs (and hence a change in my income) and navigate through some personal issues.
